Hunterdon Central is one of the largest, campus-style high schools in New Jersey. 

The high school occupies a 72 acre campus and includes four general classroom buildings, a music/communications building, an Instructional Media Center (Library), an FM radio station, a 24/7 cable television station, a 280 seat Little Theater,  a 900 seat Auditorium, a 2,000 seat Fieldhouse, 4 gymnasiums, a football stadium, 8 additional playing fields, tennis courts, 3 cafeterias and a large Commons area.

2017 Drinking Water Report

Hunterdon Central Regional High School recently completed State-required water testing for lead throughout the campus. Results were received late on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Of the 103 water samples taken from locations throughout the school, only 2 came back slightly over the State limit of 15 parts per billion. Those locations were:

  • Prep sink a Science workroom
  • Handwashing sink in the 11/12 cafeteria

Per State protocol, the sinks have been disabled and will be retested to determine next steps (changing faucet or adding lead filter to the fixture). To comply with State regulations, a Water Testing Results Letter and Water Testing Report are posted below.
