    The Baseball Parent Meeting scheduled for tonight, March 3, is being rescheduled due to the impending weather. The meeting will now take place on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:00 PM in the Little Theater.

    Boys Fencing Squad Finished 3rd Over-All at State Squads

    Hunterdon Central's Boys Fencing Foil Squad placed third in the NJSIAA Squad State Tournament. George Allan, John Ott, Jason Pang, Ben Cafaro and Stephen Olson. George Allan has been asked to participate in the State Individual tournament next weekend.

    Central Boys Hoops Defeat Delaware Valley

    Hunterdon Central's Tucker Richardson scored 11 points to lead Hunterdon Central to a 66-38 victory over Delaware Valley. Myles Thomas added nine points for Hunterdon Central, which took control of the game with a 24-8 run in the second quarter. Pat Clare and Mark Meddleton each finished with seven points.

    Girl Swimmers Defeated in Sectional Final

    Bridgewater trailed No.11 Hunterdon Central for much of the meet, but took control at the tail end after finishing first, second and third in the 100-yard backstroke. The Somerset County school also built up points by coming in second, third and fourth in the 100 breaststroke. Bridgewater-Raritan 90.5 to 79.5

    Ice Hockey Advance in State Tournament Play

    Hunterdon Central's Ice Hockey players Dan Venezia and Brian Brown each had two goals and two assists to lead Hunterdon Central over Park Regional, 6-0, in the first round of the NJSIAA Public A Tournament. Sam Ahern added a goal and two assists, while Scott Schnell also found the back of the net. Ben Handler finished with 63 saves for Park Regional.

    Champions/Coach of the Year

    Hunterdon Central wrestlers Hunter Graf 106, Peter Nace 113, and Nester Crespo 195 District 17 Champions. Jon Cantagallo-Rohm head coach of Hunterdon Central's wrestling program was voted District 17 Coach of The Year. Coach Cantagallo-Rohm will now advance for Region 5 honors.

    Wrestlers Come up Short at District 17

    North Hunterdon won the district title, posting 195 team points to second-place Hunterdon Central’s 190 1/2. Delaware Valley was third with 141 1/2, Voorhees was fourth with 124 1/2 and Hopewell Valley was fifth with 96. North Hunterdon led the way with 10 wrestlers advancing to Region 5, followed by Hunterdon Central with nine, Delaware Valley with seven, Voorhees with six and Hopewell Valley with five.
