    Baseball Wins First State Playoff Game

    Hunterdon Central's baseball player Mike Novello pitched a four-hitter, striking out eight while walking none, to lead second-seeded Hunterdon Central to a 7-0 victory over 15th-seeded Freehold Township in the first round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 tournament.

    More East Coast Relays

    Hunterdon Central seniors Sabrina Anderson and Madison Heft, and sophomore Stephanie Tackof Hunterdon Central did something that's never been done before in state history at the 45th East Coast Relays on Monday in Randolph.They cleared a combined 32-0 in the girls pole vault to break the state record of 31-6 that Hunterdon Central set at the East Coast Relays last year.Anderson made a meet best 11-6, Heft cleared 11-0, and Tack made a big personal best of 9-6.

    Hunterdon Central Girls Track - Great day for the ladies at East Coast Relays! New School Record, Meet Record, and State Record for 3-person relay. 32'0" betters the mark set by Hunterdon Central last year (31'6" Anderson, Heft, Cleary). Steph Tack was the difference maker today, stepping up and hitting a new PR at 9'6". She is really peaking and should go 10'0" at sectionals this week! Madison almost had 11'6" just missing each time, and Sabrina just missed her last attempt at 11'9".

    Girls Golf Finish 2nd at NJSIAA Sectional Championships

    Hunterdon Central girls golf team took second place at the NJSIAA Sectional Tournament play and advanced to the Tournament of Champions. Sarah Gass contributed a 79 to the Red Devils second place finish. Freshman Kaitlin Flynn (89) and senior Kaitlyn Tempalsky (93) rounded out the team’s final score.

    Central Softball Wins State Opener

    Hunterdon Central's Jessica McGuire went 3-for-4 with three RBI in second-seeded Hunterdon Central's 10-0 victory over 15th-seeded Old Bridge in the opening round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 tournament. Karissa Zubulake pitched a six-inning six-hitter, striking out three and walking none. Gina Cillo went 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI, while Hayley Fico had two RBI.

    Girls Lacrosse Wins First Round State Game

    Hunterdon Central's Catie Perkins scored three goals and had an assist, to lead Hunterdon Central over Montgomery, 13-6, in the first round of the North Jersey, Group 4 Tournament. Holly Andersen added four points, while Courtney Patterson scored twice. Stephanie Delliturri made four saves for Hunterdon Central.
