Our studios are located at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, in Raritan Township, NJ. Our transmitter and antenna are at the County Communications Complex in Cherryville.
-
Q
Why can't I get WCVH at my house/in my car/at work?
-
A
Our transmitter is 78 watts, and broadcasts from one of the highest points in the county. However, although we cover much of Hunterdon County and parts of adjoining counties, certain areas have less than optimal coverage. Remember, you can hear our programming online. Just click Listen Live on the left column!
-
Q
Why do you play country music?
-
A
Of all the available formats for Hunterdon County, the one more people wanted was Country Music. Give it a listen -- we think you'll like it!
-
Q
Do you take requests?
-
A
Because WCVH is a curricular program in Hunterdon Central's Radio Broadcasting class, it can be difficult to take requests during the school day when classes are in session. However, you can always click here to send us a request. If we can't play the song right away, we'll tally it towards that evening's Top 10 at 10.
-
Q
How do you decide what country music to play on WCVH?
-
A
The students of Radio Broadcasting help to decide which songs to play on WCVH based on the national Country Charts, requests, sales, and other relevant information.
-
Q
How do I advertise my business on WCVH?
-
A
WCVH is a non-profit, non-commercial radio station and cannot accept advertising or commercials from for-profit businesses or companies. For information on how to become a WCVH sponsor, check out the information on our "Donors" webpage.
