Water Testing Results for HCRHS

Hunterdon Central Regional High School recently completed State-required water testing for lead, throughout the campus. Results were received late on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.

Of the 103 water samples taken from locations throughout the school, only 2 came back slightly over the State limit of 15 parts per billion. Those locations were:

  • Prep sink in a Science workroom
  • Handwashing sink in the 11/12 cafeteria

Per State protocol, the sinks have been disabled and will be retested to determine next steps (changing faucet or adding lead filter to the fixture).
