On May 17-19, HC's Model UN participated in the Global Classrooms International Model UN Conference, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and in the United Nations. HC students won four awards at the conference and were recognized in the General Assembly of the UN.

Hunterdon Central’s Youth and Government club earned honors at the state-wide conference on March 23-25, 2012.

Three Hunterdon Central seniors have been named as finalists in the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program: Alicia Lee, Ethan France and Clarissa Towle.

Hunterdon Central Varsity Competition Squad won the school's first UCA National Championship, held in Orlando, Florida.
